Pre & Post Wedding Services

We are pleased to offer a variety of pre-wedding services, such as cleaning, pressing, and minor last minute alterations. After the wedding, we thoroughly examine the gown for hidden damage by removing perspiration, body oils and dirt found along the hemline of long gowns and trains. The dress is then inspected for stains, tears, bead damage and yellowing.

Each gown is then professionally cleaned, hand finished and placed in an acid-free box with a clear viewing window and packed with acid-free tissue to keep its original shape. This treasured heirloom is then thermal sealed to be preserved and worn for future generations to come. This service is also beneficial for other celebratory garments worn in a variety of memorable events.

Hidden Damage

A wedding gown is worn for only a day, and though it may not appear to be soiled, it still requires careful cleaning. Perspiration and body oils must be removed, as well as soil from hemlines of a long gowns and trains and of course, those from food and beverages. These and other stains may not be immediately visible. They develop with age through the process of oxidation, resulting in discoloration and causing fabric weakness and other damage if left uncleaned.

Preservation & Storage

After cleaning, the gown is checked again to make sure all stains are removed, all pieces are collected (veil, bouquet, photos, invitations, etc.) and that any special instructions from the customer are completed. The gown is then hand finished and reinspected after finishing. All articles are placed in a special acid-free box with a viewing window, and packed with protection.
